Who?
Raeanna is an artist, graphic designer, and illustrator located in the greater Washington, DC Metro area. Her art started when she was old enough to hold a pencil, drawing characters from her favorite video games. From there, she would go on to explore watercolors, acrylic painting, linocut printmaking, and, eventually, digital art. Her traditional art experience greatly inform her designs and allows her to communicate ideas off the computer with clarity.
While she takes the process of creating very seriously, the final product doesn’t need to be serious to be thoughtful and well loved. Raeanna often compares her products to classic Saturday morning cartoons: bright, colorful, and bold.
When not designing, Raeanna is also a prolific stage performer and creative writer. She still plays video games and finds inspiration in her favorites. But her first love will always be quality time with her husband and her two cats: a gray boy named Bender and a little cross-eyed lady named Leela.
So why go by “Good Witch”?
The easy answer: it makes her graphic design work much easier to find online. Raeanna has a lifetime of name misspellings to know that it isn’t the easiest to type out, and her name brings up a lot of acting credits as the first results. Thus, she decided to use the name Good Witch Art & Design. This name is inspired by Raeanna’s design aesthetic: colorful, whimsical, and unexpected.
